Hey all,I've just started accepting commissions again!
I'm changing the way I do them a bit, though.
I'll accept up to 2 batches of commissions before closing my queue again. A batch will consist of 6-10 commissions (depending on their type). I plan to complete one batch of commissions per month and will post the batches and batch progress on my main journal. :)
I'm also limiting the types of commissions I'm going to be doing right now due to time management issues. I'm still working a "day job" just in case I can't consistently pay my bills off of commissions alone. If all goes well, I'll be able to quit my other job and bring back all my options. Here's to hoping!
The in-progress list can be found in my journal pages at: http://clockworkconfusion.deviantart.com/

All Prices are in American Dollars

*All prices listed are rough estimates and may be subject to increase based on the complexity of the piece and time investment.
Main elements that will increase price:
- Complex Race (Sylvari, Tauren, Charr, Asura)
- High-detail hairstyles (this is extremely ornate styles)
- High-detail tattoos
- Heavy armor
- Weaponry
- Additional characters
- High-detail cybernetics (as a heads up, most ToR stuff is low detail. This is more for full cyborg requests)
All my art is done entirely digitally.
Upon completion of a commission, you will receive a high resolution .PSD file as your final product.
All prices are subject to change based on the complexity of the commissioned piece and as an artist I have the right to refuse a commission for any reason.
All payments are split and paid in two installments. Half up front and half on delivery of the final product. I accept payment via Paypal and ONLY Paypal. You use the "Send Money" option and send it to clockworkconfusion@gmail.com. I'm hoping to expand my payment options in the future, but for now I can only accept Paypal payments.
I will NEVER EVER resell any commissioned piece, but I do reserve full rights to posting the completed image on my personal gallery and portfolio.
If you are interested, please send me an email at clockworkconfusion@gmail.com and we'll get you started on getting the information I need to draw the picture you want!
The process itself is pretty straight forward. The steps are as follows:
- Email me at clockworkconfusion@gmail.com to let me know you're interested!
- In Discussion Phase - I'll email you back after I add you to my commission list. This is where we discuss what you want drawn and we affirm the price. The listed prices I have are for basic characters and does not involve complex elements. My prices are all based on the time invested into your piece so sometimes prices differentiate, but I will always be up front with you and try to work with you to make sure you're happy with the bang for the buck. This is where I will request reference of your character so I can get to drawing your commission.
- Sketch Phase - This is where I get to sketching, but this process won't begin until I receive the first half of your payment via paypal. I will send you a simple invoice via email and as soon as I have your payment, it's the invisible green light to begin. Once I've completed a quick sketch or base sketch (depending on what you've ordered), I will send you the image to make sure you're happy with the direction before moving onto the next phase.
- Color Phase - This is when all the colors get added into your character and they go from a lined sketch to the finished product.
- Complete! - We're finally there! Your character is painted and ready for display, BUT this is also where I request the second half of payment. I will send you a second simple invoice via email and as soon as I have received payment I will post your picture as well as send you a set of three files. A high-res .JPG, an RGB formatted .PSD at the full resolution in which I paint and a CMYK formatted .PSD at the resolution in which I paint. While I don't offer printing myself, if you plan to have your commission printed by a professional vendor be sure you give them the CMYK formatted .PSD as this file will print closer to true color as it is compatible with most printer formats, even your own printer at home!
